Founded in 1976, Aqua Ben Corporation began as a provider of water-soluble coagulants and flocculants for the water and wastewater treatment industry. From the beginning, our mission has been to deliver innovative chemical solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainability across a wide range of industrial and municipal processes.

 

In 1999, we launched Hydrosorb Inc., expanding our expertise into agriculture, horticulture, and soil management. As new water and soil challenges emerged, our team continued to innovate—developing specialized polymers designed to retain moisture, improve soil health, and support efficient resource management.

 

In the early 2000s, Aqua Ben introduced the SoilFloc® product line, engineered to provide advanced polymer-based sealing and water management solutions for ponds, reservoirs, and canals. The flagship product, SoilFloc Sealant, revolutionized pond and canal sealing with a through-the-water application that remains the gold standard for cost-effective seepage control today.

 

In 2018, Hydrosorb Inc. and Aqua Ben consolidated operations under the Aqua Ben Corporation name, aligning our full portfolio—Hydrofloc, Hydrosorb, SoilFloc, and Aquasperse—under one brand. Together, these product families represent nearly five decades of research, experience, and proven performance in water, soil, and environmental management.
